In the week that started with International Women’s Day, the 2 Gordons talk about some of the great women in the industry past and present before heading to South Island, New Zealand to speak to  Sarah Elsom, Master Distiller at Cardrona Distillery.  The 2 Gordon’s sample 3 of its finest drams while hearing some of the stories from Cardrona’s first 5 years.  There’s just time to sample The World Whisky Awards(WMA’s) category winner of Best Single Cask, Single Malt Scotch – Iain Whitecross’s Tamdhu, before answering questions from the mailbag!  Watch, listen or stream, either way just make sure a dram is at hand! The 2 Gordon's welcome Iain Burnett, Master Chocolatier and winner of World Truffle of the Year for his legendary Dark Velvet Truffle.  They talk about whisky pairing and why chocolate makes such a good partner.  Iain is challenged to match his chocolates with a Laphroaig 10, a Hibiki and a Glengoyne 21.  The Gordon's talk about the recent whisky awards while sampling a Fettercairn and a Tamdhu Single Cask which won World's Best Single Cask!  Enjoy with a dram and a bit of chocolate.  Iain's award winning truffles can be found here.

The 2 Gordon’s look at the world of selling whisky in the company of Danielle Murphy and Douglas Wylie both Sales Managers at Ian Macleod Distillers and both with very interesting backgrounds.  One was a croupier, dealing cards on the high seas around the Caribbean and the Mediterranean, the other represented Scotland at Rugby Union.  Featured in this episode is Kevin Moore, independent retailer talking about his business the Scottish Gantry.  Whiskies tasted, include Auchentoshan, Lagavulin 16, Smokehead and Tamdhu.  Best enjoyed with a dram.  Slainthe`

It's the last show of the series and the 2 Gordon's are in a festive mood as they over indulge in a generous portion of whisky chat and challenges.  Christmas Greetings come from Diego Borras in Spain, Juhis Virkkula in Finland and Sandy McIntyre all the way from Tamdhu with a special guest appearance by blues musician, Dave Arcari.  There's also a montage of the best of the guests featuring Preston van Winkle and Joanna Lumley to name but 2!  This is a cracking Christmas show best enjoyed with a dram.  We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.  Slainte`
