An entertaining and informative Scotch whisky show from Ian Macleod Distillers featuring Gordon Dundas, International Brand Ambassador and Gordon Dallas, Experiential Ambassador. Whisky Unscripted is an approachable podcast for all, not just the whisky aficionados. Never taking itself too seriously, but offering an insider’s guide to the whisky industry via their ownership of the Glengoyne, Tamdhu and Rosebank distilleries with their accompanying brands of Smokehead, Sheep Dip, and Pigs Nose. The 2 Gordons will be speaking to guests from within the company who make our single malt whisky, the wider industry, writers, retailers and personalities from around the world. There will also be plenty of regular features, but we also want you to get in touch with questions and areas that you want us to cover in future episodes. George McNeil the Festival chairman joins us for a chat to discuss the success and impact of the festival on the wider community. Dean Jode, Head of Whisky Creations at Murray McDavid talks about why they decided to become the official host of the event at Dallas Dhu and the difficulties involved being the auctioneer at the Gala Dinner! Tamdhu Manager, Sandy McIntyre, reveals what it was like being crowned Ambassador of The Year at the opening night Gala Dinner, (a complete surprise), as well as seeing his much-loved Tamdhu 12 and Tamdhu 18 picking up Gold Awards at the SOSF awards.
