My bike ride through the countryside past Loch Gorm to Kilchoman was fantastic. They were kind enough to send me some of their peated malt for use in a Scottish ale/black IPA hybrid which I brewed at a Texas brewery (it was very tasty). Somewhere at that brewery is a stave from a barrel in which a Kilchoman whisky matured....
